Enabling engagement with Support Coordinators
𝐈𝐦𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐡𝐞𝐥𝐩 𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐠𝐞 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐬𝐮𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭 𝐜𝐨𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐬 📣
From October 2021, as part of the Participant Service Improvement Plan, small changes have been made in the process of enabling the local partner to help participants find a support coordinator, to improve their experience with the NDIS.
𝐅𝐨𝐫 𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐬
👉 You will most likely not notice a change
👉 If you already have a support coordinator this does not need to apply to you
👉 You must have the funds for a support coordinator in your plan

👉 Support coordinators may receive request for service from an NDIS partner
👉 There is no change in the expectations or requirements of support coordinators
