Dylan Alcott, named Australian of the Year 2022

Alcott is a recognized athlete in wheelchair basketball and tennis. He has 23 quad wheelchair grand slams, a Newcombe Medal, and is the first male to win a Golden Slam in any form of tennis.
Alcott is also an advocate for people with disabilities, establishing the Dylan Alcott Foundation to help enrich the lives of young people with disabilities by eliminating the barriers of entry to get involved in sport and study through mentoring, grants, and scholarships.
Alcott's advice to young people with a disability is: "The biggest thing is that for every one thing you can’t do, there are 10,000 others you can.”
